Annual Spiritual and Religious Youth Art Competition
December 1, 2018 - January 5, 2019
Thank you to all students who entered the 2018 Spiritual and Religious Youth Art Competition! Our jurors were impressed by the creativity and thoughtfulness the youth put in to their work. They had a hard time narrowing it down to the final list and encourage all who entered to keep making art.
With the Holiday season swiftly approaching, we are excited to announce this year's Annual Spiritual & Religious Youth Art Competition. This exhibition, formerly known as the Annual Christmas Lamb Art Show exhibition, sponsored by Ingrid F. Nemelka and the Nemelka family, is open to K-10 students living in Utah Valley. This year, in efforts to make this an interfaith celebration, we are encouraging students to create artwork focused on the exhibition Journeys: Monomyth and Transformation.
We encourage students to consider the following questions when thinking of subject matter:
- How does your family encourage you to try new things?
- When did you try something new and were surprised by how much you liked it?
- When did you need courage to overcome a challenge?
