Youth Expressive Arts Therapy 

Monday evenings 6:30-8:00pm from September 16, 2024 through November 4, 2024

Come learn to use art and music, movement and yoga to better understand yourself, your emotions, thoughts, and learn skills to support your wellbeing and mental health! We will deepen our understanding of and connection to ourselves through expressive modalities that will help us to increase mindfulness, regulate our emotions increase our tolerance to stress, and improve our communication in relationships. By the end of our eight circles together you will have a greater competence in identifying and labeling your emotions and dealing with them in more effective ways

Workshops will be held at the Springville Museum of Art.

Participants must be a current high school student living in Springville, Utah. 

This program is supported by Springville PAR funding. 

Pre-register only by September 9th, 2024. Space is limited to 16 participants.

Kalli Kronmiller

"I am an Expressive Arts Therapist, Mental Health Counselor (CMHC), Embodiment Somatic Coach, 200 Hour Certified Yoga Instructor, and Restorative Partner Hands On Yoga Practitioner. I hold a Masters of Arts degree in Expressive Therapies and Mental Health Counseling, a Masters of Family and Human Development degree, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.  Additionally I am trained in Somatic Trauma Therapy, EMDR, IFS/Somatic Parts, Attachment and Developmental Trauma, Theraplay, Sandtray Therapy, EFT, DBT, and Psychodrama.  I am a member of the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association (IEATA)."
