A performance that is part of the Annual Summer Opera Festival will take place on Wednesday, July 13th, at 6:30 PM in the Grand Gallery of the Springville Museum of Art. This concert is FREE to the public. This year's Utah Vocal Arts Academy's Summer Opera Festival will be featuring our college-aged singers in this July 13th performance at Springville Art Museum. It will include opera arias and art songs by the great composers including Puccini, Barber, Faure, Wagner, Tosti, and Bellini. These singers are from all over the USA and beyond. They were hand selected in auditions out of hundreds of applicants and have come to Utah to receive vocal and acting training and perform roles in Dvorak's Rusalka, Puccini's Gianni Schicchi, Purcell's Dido and Aeneas, and Mozart's The Impresario later this month at UVU's Noorda Center for the Performing Arts.
